Sol Direct Primary Care is excited to announce our Rising Women in Medicine Internship, a unique opportunity for rising college seniors from Spelman College interested in pursuing careers in medicine.
This 2-month summer internship (June–July 2026) is designed to provide hands-on experience in a dynamic and growing medical practice focused on Black women’s health and wellness.

Program Details:
Dates: June 2 – July 31, 2026
Office Hours: Tuesday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, with occasional weekend commitments
Stipend: $1500 (Housing and transportation not provided)
Location: Sol Direct Primary Care – East Point, GA
Ideal Candidate:
- Rising college senior
- Strong interest in medicine, healthcare, and patient care
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with patients and team members
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Administrative Skills:
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Ensuring smooth office operations and assisting with practice workflows
Clinical Skills:
- Rooming patients and taking vital signs
- Assisting with procedures and preparing exam rooms
- Preparing labs & phlebotomy
Business of Medicine:
- Understanding practice management and operations
- Participating in marketing and social media initiatives
