Sol DPC Gap Year Internship 2025-26

We’re looking for the perfect intern to join us at Sol Direct Primary Care — a trailblazing medical practice dedicated to reimagining healthcare for Black women. This is a unique gap year opportunity designed for recent college graduates taking a year before medical school or other health-related programs.

As a Sol DPC intern, you’ll gain invaluable, hands-on experience across all aspects of running and growing a medical practice. From clinical to administrative to aesthetics, you’ll walk away with a strong foundation in patient care and healthcare entrepreneurship.

You Will Learn

Clinical Skills:

- Taking Vital signs, lab processing, phlebotomy, performing EKGs, patient communication

Administrative Skills:

Phone triage, appointment scheduling, inventory management

Aesthetics Training:

Laser hair removal and hair restoration techniques

Marketing:

Social media, community outreach, and creative health campaigns

You’ll be an integral part of our passionate, mission-driven team. We are building something powerful—and you’ll help us do it.

Program Details:

Start Date: August 2025

End Date: August 2026 (start and end dates are flexible)

Compensation: Biweekly stipend of $500 + opportunities for commission

Office Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, with occasional evening & weekend commitments

Location: Sol Direct Primary Care – East Point, GA

Ideal Candidate:

- Recent college graduate (2024 or 2025) planning a gap year

- Strong interest in medicine, healthcare innovation, or women’s health

- Reliable, compassionate, self-starter who thrives with autonomy

- Bonus if you have experience in marketing, healthcare, or wellness—but not required!

Laser Hair Removal & Hair Restoration

We are seeking a licensed RN/LPN or esthetician to join our innovative team on a PRN (as-needed) basis to deliver hair restoration and laser services. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in aesthetic medicine, grow with a cutting-edge practice, and become part of a movement centering Black women’s care.
